I am happy to know that you have considered reading reviews for trading platforms. I love it when I see young traders taking the lead to research themselves. Unfortunately, people, these days are not fond of investing effort in looking for a nice platform. This is one of the major reasons why out of traders falling for scams, a large fraction happens to be the newbies. Imposters are fully aware of the fact that you people like to test what people tell you. My dad used to tell me that you should never trust anybody’s advice when it comes to trading. Even if it’s your parents. You can consider suggestions as an option but if you don’t go ahead and look for the worth of the option, you are doomed to fail.
I found it just another boring piece of advice when I was a child but after suffering at the hands of multiple scammers, I know this is one thing all traders should get framed and placed in their offices. When I was new to the profession, I kept falling into scams back to back. After losing all my assets I finally woke up and told myself it was enough. After 3 companies had fooled me, I knew what to look for in a good forex firm. But the problem was which firm had it all.
Today I am writing this review in an attempt to convey all the lessons I had learned after years of struggle. I hope you’ll take all these seriously. If you do then you’ll cut down the chance of falling for a trap significantly. Also, I am here advising you with all sincerity, but I expect you to see yourself if my words are authentic and trustworthy or not.
Before you start your drive to find the right broker, I would like to suggest you sit down in a peaceful and silent room. Wear your comfortable clothes, grab a cup of warm coffee and close your eyes. Now you ask yourself how you want your partner to be. Enlist all the qualities such as trustworthy, easy-going, caring, safe and secure, cool, and the list can go on. When you have a list, sort them in an order of highest to lowest priority. You can keep adding to the list later but once it’s done tell yourself that time real time of picking an appropriate firm has arrived.
The next step is to make a list of all the brokerage firms that you have been suggested or the ones you feel might work for you. Once done, you need to make a checklist out of your priority list and see if all these firms meet up your criteria. The shortlisted ones should be further probed until to reach the one which you feel is going to be a nice pick. I did all this after my 3rd firm but it’s okay. They say, better late than never. I don’t want you all to stay late and make the right choice the very first time. The firm I’ve been associated with for years is London Gates. So, are you ready to see what my broker looks like?
Good Looks
That’s one thing everyone looks for in their partner. And that’s a nice thing to do, trust me. Jokes apart, you don’t only need a good-looking spouse but a good-looking brokerage firm also. This might seem nonsensical initially, but trust me a bad theme and colour combination can make the website so hard to use. How glad I am about the fact the London Gates has been designed just the way I wanted my forum to be. The white background colour makes my hours very productive because my eyes don’t have to fight the added darkness from the background. Apart from the colours, the overall theme is also good, integrated graphics and easily readable text make the website easy to navigate. For me, the theme and colours work well but a lot of my fellow traders find white background boring and monotonous so I hope the wish of all traders fulfills and the company introduces an option that lets users pick their favorite theme.
Trustworthy
Who would ever not want their partner to be trustworthy? And probably this is one of the elements that I love the most about this forum. Not even a day has gone by that I felt my assets vulnerable breach. We keep hearing stories of security invasions at other platforms but thank God London Gates doesn’t fall in that category. When I was new I could not figure out the right way to see if a firm holds the potential to guard my assets well. My senior suggested that I go through the Legal section. The first thing I did was, went through the legal section of the London Gates and the transparency, maturity, and clarity gave birth to a sense of inclination towards this forum. In fact, I got legal aid to go through these documents and they were also satisfied. Also, the disclaimer at the end clarifies the entire situation for traders so they know where they are standing exactly. Some documents provided are
- Anti Money Laundering Policy
- Withdrawal, Refund, and Cancellation Policy
- Bonus Policy
- Terms and Conditions
- Privacy Policy
- Risk Disclosure Statement
Packages
The firm ensures that the customers don’t waste their hard-earned money. For this purpose, they have devised a very smart option of packages. This has been put out keeping under consideration the fact that all readers have varying needs. This means that a young trader does not want leverage up to 400 so why do they overpay. These specs help the company serve the varying needs of traders. These packages include Self Managed, Select, Personal, Honors, and Wealth Management. The Self-Managed one is for the young traders. It provides them with all the basic features required in order to get themselves acquainted with the new features. This account requires a minimum deposit of $250 and as we go up the amount of the initial deposit and the features improve and enhance.
Ease of Access
A good forum has to be easily accessible. If a forum cannot be operated from multiple devices then it might end up being a headache for you. It is impossible to carry your laptop everywhere you go. Traders have to make deals anywhere, anything when they find the rates appropriate. If they don’t have a laptop at that point in time should they give up on good deals? London Gates had this in mind which is why they designed multiple-devices-supported-forum. You can slip out your phone anytime and you’re good to go.

Pocket Friendly
How great it would be if you got all of this from small amounts of money? Well, you get all of it in reasonable amounts of bucks. Also, you will not be robbed in the name of hidden charges and extra added commissions. This is another very popular quality of London Gates. You are always informed about what you have to pay and what you’ll get from the company against it.
Multiple Ways To Get In Touch
Since the platform has a very large clientele that encompasses traders all around the globe, the forum has introduced multiple options for contact such as email, form submission, chat and phone. All of these are great and responsive. I feel the need to mention that the staff at the other end is super cool and welcoming. They never make you feel dumb for asking basic questions like “Hi, I can’t find the email address”. I have done it once. Well, the drawback lies in the fact that these options cannot be accessed all the time. They are closed at weekends and on weekdays they have limited hours. Also, there is no one international number for all the global customers to get in touch. I wish the company considers working on these soon. Otherwise, this service is one of the best ones provided by the broker.
Education Center
The common has developed a perfectly laid out education centre. It has eBooks, Asset Index, Frequently Asked Questions, and Glossary. All of these have been put forth in a time-saving manner. The alphabetical arrangement and the grouping of FAQs are what I love because of the way it lets me quickly reach what I want. The eBooks are for both the new and the experienced traders. This lets all sorts of traders learn new information and revise the old one.
The Last Word
Although my experience with this broker has been great and I do not plan on switching to another one, I would love it if you do your own research and pick one. I hope you are able to make a calculated decision based on the information provided at hand and select your long-term broker. Good luck!
